The Bridge Road story begins in the year 2000 when young Beechworth native Ben Kraus, packed his bags for Europe to learn more about the world and the art of making wine. Along the way, he got distracted on the ski slopes of Austria, met his wife Maria and ended up working at a traditional microbrewery in Innsbruck.
Bridge Road Brewers opened this new venue in 2023 and located in the growing East Brunswick Village precinct, our Brunswick brewery and dining hall is now a local community go-to. A proud part of the thriving Brunswick beer scene, where our High Country roots intersect with the unique energy of Melbourne’s Inner North.
The Brunswick brewery and dining hall offers a welcoming, earthy-meets-industrial interior; industry-leading beer brewed on site; and a food menu blending elevated modern Australian dishes with pizzas and classic pub fare.
